Eggplant is species in the nightshade family (Solanaceae) which is originated from India. Eggplant is grown worldwide for its high nutrient value and it is a welcoming dishes in many countries due to its edible fruit skin, fruits and seeds. It is a kind of purple vegetables with unique nutritional value. It contains a variety of vitamins and calcium, phosphorus, iron and other mineral elements.
